Welcome!

Hi! My name is Bethany! Welcome to my Blog! I've never had one of these before...nor really know how to use it...so bear with me! haha...
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself...I grew up in San Jose my whole life. I've grown up in a Christian family. I have 3 sisters, one older and 2 younger- Jasmin, Heather and Christianna. My older sister Jasmin is married and has a baby girl- Grace Elizabeth, who is now 6mos old. My whole family is pretty much involved in ministry, and has been since I was a child.
My father is on staff at Calvary Chapel San Jose as the Pastor's second in command basically...my mother is a preschool teacher there. Heather is the Children's Ministry assistant, and Christianna (a.k.a Kissy) is the "Jack of all trades".
My sisters and I are all musically inclined...don't know how it happened since our parents aren't musical. My older sister sings on the worship team with her husband (worship leader at Calvary Chapel San Mateo). My younger sister Heather plays piano beautifully, and Kissy sings and plays guitar, as do I.
A little about myself- I taught myself how to play guitar when I was 18 and have been playing it since...although I probably could use a little lesson or two. ;) haha I've been singing since I was about 16. My youth pastor at the time came up to me and said that he thought I should sing on the worship team...but me being the shyest person in the church said no. He told me to pray about it and thought that it was something that God wanted me to do. Sure enough- me and God wrestled for a bit- and I knew it was what he wanted me to do. Now, here I am a "traveling" worship leader and singer/songwriter. I KNOW without a shadow of a doubt that THIS is what God's called me to do. I love being in the Lord's presence and being able to take people to that same level- our God is SO worthy to be praised! He's worthy of ALL honor, ALL glory FOREVER and EVER AMEN!
Thanks for taking the time to read...next time I won't be so long, I promise. :)
God bless and may He richly bless you...
